Why yes, I am pagan. However did you guess?
R and I are gearing up for ritual tonight. He's taking his nephews out trick-or-treating, and while he's out, I'll be running to the stores for a few last-minute supplies. Like wine and cakes. And candles. Okay, so technically I'll be running out to the stores for nearly all our supplies. We'd have made better arrangements, but ith R being so sick recently and money being in very short supply, it hasn't exactly been easy for us. We weren't even sure if R would be up to doing ritual this Samhain. A trip to the hospital the other night helped to sort some of his problems out, thankfully, and he's starting to get better and to get his energy back. Hence the reason we're celebrating tonight.
And tomorrow, NaNoWriMo starts. I'm excited about that; I've been looking forward to the challenge for over a month now, and I've finally settled on what I want to write. The Kick-Off party was last night, a little early since it's most often on October 31st, but a lot of us are busy tonight, so last night was the best time. It was fun talking with K and E again, since I haven't seen them in almost a year, not since last November. I do have to spend more time with K, since she's such fun. Strange to think that she taught R and I in high school and now has become a friend of ours.
Well, I'm sure there's a last-minute something-or-other I ought to be doing right now, so I'll sign off and get it done. Blessed Samhain to all my readers, and may the coming days be filled with prosperity, hope, and joy.
