I slept very little last night. R had a migraine, and so I spent the first 3 hours of my sleeping time on the couch, rather uncomfortably. Fortunately his migraine subsided by around 3:00, so I got to sleep in a real bed for the last 4 hours before I had to get up for work. As such, I maybe got 5 hours of proper sleep, and after a day of work, I'm pretty tired.
Fortunately, work wasn't as involved as it could have been. Since it's Thanksgiving Day and nobody really wanted to be there, including the trainer, we were allowed a few extra breaks, a long lunch, and to go home half an hour early. A true blessing, and something to be very thankful for!
Since I couldn't go to R's parents for Thanksgiving dinner, R brought home some leftovers for me, so I just finished eating a small turkey dinner. I'm now comfortably sitting in the living room, watching an old movie and contemplating getting up to get a slice of pumpkin cheesecake from the fridge. Oh, the hard life I lead!
The temperature has been dipping again. We've had wind chills already, and some nights have been cold enough to warrant the use of a second blanket. I'm wearing my long winter coat to work every day now, and soon I'll probably have to add a scarf to the mix too. The only thing I like about the cold is coming inside to get away from it!
I hear that cheesecake calling.
